This year, the Institute of Business Ethics will be launching the results of the seventh triennial survey of employees from around the world. We have asked for 12,000 global employee views on ethics in their workplace. Are employees prepared to speak up about misconduct? How common is retaliation against those who have spoken up? Do they feel directly or indirectly pressured to compromise their employer's ethical values to get results?

Covering employees from 16 countries in six continents – Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, Oceania, South America – the survey has asked around 12,000 employees for their views with the aims of:

  • Understanding employee attitudes towards - and perceptions of - ethics in the workplace
  • Identifying trends and developments through comparisons with data from the IBE’s previous Ethics at Work surveys
  • Comparing how business ethics is viewed and understood by employees in different countries.

Join us at this in-person event in central London on 10 October to hear about the results, learn more about the contexts with our panel of senior ethics and compliance practitioners, and discuss the survey informally at the post-event networking reception.
