The Institute of Business Ethics is seeking an exceptional individual to serve as its next Chair.

We champion ethical business practice and culture through advice, training, networking, and advocacy, emphasising leadership, ethical cultures and values-based decision-making. 

With nearly 40 years of history, we are entering a transformative phase under a newly appointed Chief Executive, aspiring to increase our impact, attract new supporters, and become a hub where leaders reflect on values, culture, and the future of ethical business practices.

As Chair, you will guide the Board of Trustees in setting the strategic direction, ensuring effective governance, and collaborating with the Chief Executive to deliver our ambitious goals. You will be a powerful advocate for us, cultivating relationships with stakeholders, championing ethical leadership, and fostering trust in society.

Timeline

• The closing date for applications is 27 February 2025
• Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by 12 March 2025 and invited to a first-round interview with the selection panel
• A second round will be take place within the following two weeks
• We expect an anticipated appointment date of 2 July 2025.
